Pentax Espio Mini / Fuji Industrial 400

This was another outing for the Pentax Espio Mini – the Olympus XA is dying a death after some mistreatment by Chu Chu so it might get more action in the coming months and years

We went to Himeji to visit the wonderful castle there. On the way back we stopped off in Kobe because the little lady wanted to. We ate some beefs and also stumbled upon a little bakery (Isuzu) which is quite famous as it turns out so I thought what could be better to purchase and then eat from a somewhat famous bakery than an indeterminate puck of fried matter.

The day we walked to Kiyomizu-dera.

We strolled along the Kamo River from our little house near Sanjo Station, through Gion to Yazaka shrine and all the way to Kiyomizu-dera and Chion-In. This could definitely be considered “nice”.

Restaurant, Kyoto Sanjo

I can’t remember the name of this restaurant or exactly where it was but I think it was on Kiya-machi Dori. Near this restaurant.

We liked it here and I was utterly charmed by our waitress who was of advanced years, well into her eighties by my estimation. Sadly, only one of Japan’s many poor lagers on draught.
