Higashiyama and Beyond

Nikon FM2 / Fuji Reala 100 [Expired 05/2005]

We had a jolly nice time on this day. We walked from our little flat on the edge of Higashiyama to the Kamo River and then onto Yasaka Shrine, Chion-In, Shoren-In Monzeki Temple, Kodai-Ji, Zenkojido Temple and Kiyumizu-Dera.

We walked back through some backstreets in a little district near Yazaka Shrine where I was taking pitchas on a camera that turned out to be broken..

Pentax Espio Mini / Fuji Industrial 400

This was another outing for the Pentax Espio Mini – the Olympus XA is dying a death after some mistreatment by Chu Chu so it might get more action in the coming months and years

We went to Himeji to visit the wonderful castle there. On the way back we stopped off in Kobe because the little lady wanted to. We ate some beefs and also stumbled upon a little bakery (Isuzu) which is quite famous as it turns out so I thought what could be better to purchase and then eat from a somewhat famous bakery than an indeterminate puck of fried matter.
